BUILT FOR RETAIL REQUIREMENTS

A Retail PO Is More Than Pick & Pack.

Every retailer can have different requirements for how products are picked, labeled, packed, documented, and delivered. Rackit manages everything between receiving your PO and getting the shipment ready for the retailer.

Pick to the PO

We prepare the required products and quantities according to each purchase order, whether fulfillment requires full cases or individual units.

Prepare to Retailer Requirements

Barcodes, labels, packing, and other preparation are handled according to each retailer's requirements.

Check Before Dispatch

Orders are checked and documented against the PO and required preparation before being released for delivery.

BUILT FOR THE DETAILS

From Barcodes to Box Labels, We Handle the Prep.

Retail orders can require more than picking the right products. Rackit handles the additional preparation needed to get your inventory ready for retailer receiving.

Case & Unit Picking

Full cases or individual units are picked according to the quantities required by each PO.

Product Barcoding

Retailer-specific barcodes can be applied to individual products before packing.

Price & Product Labeling

Price tags and other required product labels can be applied according to retailer requirements.

Packing & Cartonization

Products are packed into cartons based on the PO and required packing configuration.

Wrapping & Carton Preparation

Cartons can be cling-wrapped or otherwise prepared when additional protection or presentation is required.

Box Labeling

Required carton and shipment labels are applied before the order is released for dispatch.

PO & Shipment Documentation

Required PO and shipment documents are organized alongside the prepared order for receiving.

Final Check & Dispatch Prep

Completed orders are checked, consolidated, and staged for handover or delivery.

BUILT AROUND YOUR RETAILERS

Different Retailers. Different Requirements. One Workflow.

Retail receiving requirements aren't always the same. Rackit builds each retailer's preparation requirements into the workflow so your team doesn't have to manage every PO manually.

Requirements Mapped Upfront

Before fulfillment begins, we align on the picking, labeling, packing, documentation, and dispatch requirements for each retailer.

Repeatable PO Workflows

Once requirements are established, they become part of the operating process for future POs—reducing the need to explain the same instructions every time.

Changes Can Be Built In

When a retailer updates a requirement or a PO needs something different, the workflow can be adjusted before the order is prepared.

FAQ

Questions About Warehousing?

How is storage charged?

Storage can be structured based on the type and volume of inventory you need to store, such as palletized or cubic-volume storage. We review your inventory profile before recommending the most suitable setup and pricing.

What happens when inventory arrives at your warehouse?

Incoming inventory is received, counted, and checked against the information provided before being recorded and assigned to its storage location. Any discrepancies identified during receiving can be flagged for review.

Can you store both pallets and cartons?

Yes. We can accommodate palletized inventory as well as products stored by carton or cubic volume, depending on the size, quantity, and movement of your stock.

Can you fulfill eCommerce orders from the inventory stored with you?

Yes. Inventory stored at Rackit can also be used for eCommerce fulfillment, allowing orders to be picked, packed, and dispatched without moving stock to another facility.

Can you prepare B2B and retail orders from the same inventory?

Yes. We can prepare stock for business customers and retailers, including case or unit picking, packing, labeling, and other preparation requirements depending on the receiving destination.

Can our storage space increase or decrease as our inventory changes?

Yes, subject to warehouse capacity. Your storage requirement can change as inventory levels move rather than requiring you to operate a fixed warehouse space of your own.

How do we send inventory to your warehouse?

Once your account and receiving process are set up, we'll coordinate the inbound requirements with you before inventory arrives so our team knows what to expect and how it should be received.
